Upholstered styles feature fully upholstered headboards (including the back), so the bed can float anywhere in the room.
How are your beds built to last?
Each bed is built for longevity on a solid or reinforced kiln-dried wood frame with sturdy joinery, and a platform design with wood slat supports means no box spring is required. Upholstered styles are padded for a soft, comfortable lean, and every frame is backed by our lifetime frame guarantee.
Do I need a box spring, and can I use an adjustable base?
No box spring is required u2014 the platform base and wood slats support your mattress directly. Some styles are also compatible with an adjustable-base mattress, but compatibility varies by bed, so check the product page for details on the specific style you're considering.
How do I care for my bed?
Wipe wood frames with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry promptly; spot-clean upholstered headboards per the fabric guidance and vacuum with an upholstery attachment; dust rattan with a soft cloth or vacuum attachment. Keep wood, fabric, and natural fibers out of prolonged direct sunlight to minimize fading.
How is my bed delivered and assembled?
Your bed is delivered via free white glove service and assembled in your room of choice by the delivery team, with all packaging removed. Because beds pass through tight spaces during delivery, we recommend measuring doorways, hallways, and stairwells before ordering.
How will my furniture be delivered?
Every furniture item ships via our complimentary white glove delivery service, regardless of size. Once your order ships, our carrier, Metropolitan, will reach out to schedule a delivery date and a 4-hour window. On delivery day, they'll call ahead, bring your piece into your room of choice, complete any assembly, and remove all packaging. Most items arrive fully assembled or require only light assembly, which the white glove team completes for you upon delivery.
What is the white glove delivery process like?
After your order ships, you'll receive tracking details and an email from Metropolitan to schedule your 4-hour delivery window. The team calls when they're about 30 minutes away, then places your furniture exactly where you'd like it, completes any necessary assembly, and takes away all packing materials. Please note that our white glove service includes one delivery attempt; for each additional attempt, Quince will charge a fee of 15% of the total order value, so we recommend measuring carefully before ordering to ensure your item fits through all doorways, hallways, and elevators. Our carrier is also unable to handle any non-Quince items, such as furniture or rugs already in your home.
What is your return policy?
Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery for stocked items and 7 days for made-to-order items. Items must be in new, unused condition, and a 15% restocking fee applies. Cancellations made more than 24 hours after an order is placed are also subject to the 15% restocking fee.
How do I measure to make sure my furniture will fit?
We recommend measuring the width, height, and diagonal depth of your space, along with all doorways, hallways, stairwells, and elevators the piece will pass through u2014 the item's diagonal depth must be less than the width of your narrowest passage. What does the warranty cover?
Our furniture is certified free from defects in frame and craftsmanship for the lifetime of the original owner under normal residential use. It does not cover commercial use, or damage from accidents, misuse, improper care, or normal wear to fabric.
